Session 7

No Justice, No Humanity = No Peace

Saturday, 19 September 2026

17:55–19:10 (GMT+7)

Keynote Speakers & Panelists

The normalization of prolonged conflict, humanitarian suffering, and violations of international norms and laws has exposed the international community to a hypocritical practice of the rules based order across different contexts. Aggressive political decisions that lead to war and armed conflict, often justified under the banner of nationalism, have been exercised at the expense of humanity and justice.

Justice and humanity are increasingly treated as conditional principles in international affairs. The normalization of this practice, alongside the selective application of international norms and principles, has contributed to a growing climate of fear, uncertainty, and disillusionment. It raises fundamental questions about whether justice and humanity still hold meaningful influence in shaping the international order.

This session aims to examine this trend and explore perspectives and ideas to address it from the global north, south, east, and west.
